What a day.......

I went fishing this morning with my brother-in-law at a near by pond. As we were walking into the pond area, a guy was walking out and we asked him if he had any luck. He said he caught several rainbows and was done for the day (it was only 6:30 A.M.).

There were two college kids there and they said they hadn't caught anything yet. My brother-in-law and I tossed our lines into the water. Within five minutes my brother-in-law was reeling in a rainbow. A few minutes later, he was bringing in another one to hand. At this point, he reminded me he was up five to zero for the year.

A few minutes later, it was my turn to bring in my first trout of the year. It was a beautiful 14 inch rainbow. Within five minutes another 14 inch rainbow was tightening my line. By 8:30 A.M. I caught six rainbows and we limited out. That is the most trout I ever caught in one day.

Afterward,I had to pick up my youngest son from URI. We spent the next two hours talking and listening to 70's and 80's music. It was great stuff.

My oldest son is home for Easter and we ended up hanging out until supper. My wife made chicken marsala that was fantastic. We then went for a walk at the high school track to burn off some calories. Now it is time to watch Big Bang Theory.

Good stuff...........
