I think this is the week......

The snow is melting and access to the nearby river is getting better.
I think I am going to attempt a double surgeon's knot and get out on the water.
The nearby river is stocked in the fall with rainbows and I am not really expecting that there are
any holdovers. I just want to get out there and practice casting.

    Go for it buddy.
    My little streams here are ripping, I may attempt a trip Tue or Wed. things should be better

    I would not be surprised to find holdovers if the stream is stocked in the fall. Given all the snow melt and rain I would think the stream will be moving. You might need to use heavy flies or split shot to get to the bottom.
