Добро пожаловать назад мои друзья

Since the fishing is nearly nonexistent for me, I haven't posted anything here; however, I do find myself checking the stats just for the heck of it and I found something very interesting.

There is a growing number of people from Russia who are viewing this blog (thus the title of the post). I realize that I am not the first to notice this but I found it note worthy nonetheless.

So in the spirit of global expansion I say to my Russian readers: Добро пожаловать назад мои друзья.

Also, to anyone who translates this page in order to read it please don't hesitate to answer a blog posting in your own language (just let me know where you are from so I don't have to guess) because I will translate it into English.

  2. Hi Mark.....it is getting to the point where there are nearly equal visits from Russia and the USA (not that there is anything wrong with that).

  3. Hi Mac! Well first off I like the new look. Kind of classy looking. I enjoy my visitors from "other places" as well. I like the idea of doing the headline in Russian. Clever.

    1. Hi Howard.....thank you sir for the compliment about the change and attempt to get the overseas folks to join in the exchange.

Feel free to steal the strategy even though it hasn't worked here yet.

    1. Hi Alan.....I think I am of Celtic heritage but I have been accused of being an Italian at heart because of my love of the language, food and history. One of the greatest times with my sons was in Rome a couple of years ago when were were drawn down to the Tiber River by the sound of Frank Sinatra music being played on a full moon lit night. We found a table on the deck and ordered some Birra Moretti beers while my youngest son danced with some of the local beauties. Two of my nephews and my brother-in -law were there also and it always brings back great memories and smiles to all of us when were recall that night. I can't wait to get back to Italy. Aren't you glad you asked Alan? :)

I also got a chance to read the article in the magazine that showed your fly. They did a nice job and you didn't mention about the donation that will go to worthy causes from an auction of all the flies. Also, that is a nice magazine. I may try to get into the rotation once some of the others that I subscribe to expire.
