Mac, I would agree with Savage if that is the same company that publishes Southwest Fly Fishing, which is a terrific (expensive) magazine. I've tried them all at one time or another, but I'm hooked on Fly Fish America, which is free. Good reviews, etc.
Hi Mark...I get New England Game & Fish (which I like). I saw Fly Fisherman & Fly Rod & Reel at the library yesterday and that is what triggered this post. I will read those two at the library to see which one is a finalist. Thanks.
Hey Howard...I checked out the one Savage mentioned and it sounds like it is published by the same company as Southwest Fly Fishing (because it was expensive and had good content). I will check out the free one later tonight. Thanks.
I like Eastern Fly Fishing. It has good fly recipes, and lots of where to go.
ReplyDeleteThanks Savage.
ReplyDeleteI will check it out.

ReplyDeleteHey Ed.
ReplyDelete1. Fly Fisherman
2. Fly Tyer
3. California Game & Fish (there should be one in your state)
4. Fly Rod & Reel
Those 4 and a couple of local (California) ones.
Mark
