I hope that you can enjoy the company of your family & friends.
I always stop and think about my loved ones who are no longer alive. I also think about all the people who left their homelands for a better life in the United States and endured circumstances and hardships must of us couldn't imagine.
Of course living in Boston I think about the birth of our nation and all the events that took place to make it possible. If you like history, then you will you love" Paul Revere's Ride" by David Hackett Fischer. Also, check out "The Americans" by Daniel Boorstin. My all time favorite book is "A Miracle in Philadelphia" by Catherine Drinker Bowen. This book is a must read if you consider yourself an armchair historian of US history.
Be safe, Carpe Diem and thank a veteran for their service.
