Damn you Blogger!

On the day I catch my first trout on a fly and announce it to the universe (o.k. a small circle) Blogger goes down for over 20 hours.  Are there any lawyers following this blog?

  1. At least yours is working! Half the time mine is down, or it says I am not following any blogs, and even worse erasing my followers :(

  4. Thanks Dustin...it (the landing) wasn't pretty I am guessing but like in golf they don't ask you how they ask you how many. All I wanted to do was land that fish.

I really haven't had a problem with Blogger until the other day but I know others (like yourself, Mel & Howard) have had issues in the past. Erin's, Mike C's and Howard's comments were deleted and haven't been restored yet although Blogger's website states they will be before the weekend is over.

I may ask my wife to get me a fly-tying kit for Christmas. Catching a fly that you tied has got to be a blast (as you, brktrt and others can attest to).

  5. Dear Mr. Howard..please also thank your brother Curly on my behalf for your prompt attention on this matter. As you can imagine, I have lost sleep, my mind, weight and my direction over this matter. Anything you can get on my behalf you will be entitled to 50% (less if real money is involved);however,if you are unable to secure any monies, then I will be obligated to engage the services of Dewey, Burnham, and Howe. Their methods may be unorthodox but they get results.

  6. Mine was down too. I figured it was another savage attack against Google by Facebook. In war, it's the innocent that always suffer.....

  9. Dustin this would be a good time to come up with the next amazing fly that allows you to retire. :)

Antony....I am guessing that they have had an ear full since this happened. I really never had a problem before but if you look at their blog I guess others have not been so fortunate.

  10. I got my grandparents to get me a fly tying kit for my birthday... Maybe a solution to the week long wait it has been since ordering my flies?

  13. I hear you....don't want to rush time.

Since I haven't seen any fish rise for bugs yet I would try a Pheasant Tail or Hare's Ear. You can't go wrong with a Wooly Bugger either. I caught my first trout on a Gold Bead Prince Nymph (and they still are taking runs at it. I just can't hook them).

Post it so I can see it because there are a few people who can offer you help that stop by the blog. I am sure that they will be more than willing to help you.
